The Beatty Library District

Beatty, Nevada (population approximately 1,100), Official Gateway to Death Valley is located 115 miles North of Las Vegas on U.S. 95, in Nye County, Nevada, the third largest county in the United States.  The old-timers might recall that Beatty is between Sober Up Gulch and Jackass Flats.

The Beatty Library (the only geodesic dome library in the state of Nevada) is located at the corner of 4th and Ward Streets in Beatty, Nevada.  We have over 15,000 items in our collection: books, magazines, newspapers, books on CD, DVDs and we still have a few VHS.  Our services include Faxing, Copying, Printing, free internet access, Interlibrary loans and adult and children's programs.
